One red-and-white rope, tied into itself, carrying one sentence on a tag. Not a mascot. A stand-in for the moment you decided not to say it.
The character
One rope, one sentence
Rope（繩子繞）comes from the novel《歷史的逆向工程》: a red-and-white cord the protagonist's mind conjures up as its own safety valve. Sharp-tongued, deliberately lying flat, allergic to sympathy — it will never say "I understand you". It hangs a sign instead.
Each of the 30 designs is a single length of rope wound into one working knot — sailor's, climber's, fisherman's, tally knots — with a half-hidden face and a tag that says the sentence people usually keep to themselves. 本繩今日不營業。 我先鬆一格。 Twenty-eight more.
They are meant to be worn on a bag where other people can read them. The venomous shell protects a soft core: a tag that says "closed today" is the only apology some of us can hand over.
The making
Designed and engineered in-house
The characters are ours, and so is the making: one continuous rope, a memory-wire core, a printed face panel always half-covered by the rope itself, a single matte-black clasp, an integral moulded loop, and a vertical word tag. Every new design is a new knot, not a new mould.
