Granny A Xiu is an original Authentic Taiwan character inspired by Tamsui iron eggs. Her dark-brown egg silhouette, silver bun, round glasses and tea-green apron create a welcoming little granny with a basket of eggs. She is the friend Xiao You makes in Episode 5 of Xiao You Around Taiwan, in Tamsui.

阿秀婆婆登場｜小優遊台灣 第 5 集 淡水・鐵蛋的故鄉

紅線把小優拉到河口，阿秀婆婆說給她聽：「聽說是渡船頭的一個雨天，滷蛋只好回鍋，一次又一次。」最後送小優一顆小鐵蛋：「以後我們就是朋友了！」
The red thread pulls Xiao You to the river mouth, where Granny A Xiu tells her: "They say it started on a rainy day by the ferry pier. So the eggs went back in the pot, again and again." At the end, a little iron egg for her: "We're friends now!"
