Say hello to Da Niu, an original character inspired by Yilan's elongated ox-tongue biscuit. Small horns, a friendly smile and a brick-red neckerchief create a dependable little travel companion. He is the friend Xiao You makes in Episode 6 of Xiao You Around Taiwan, in Yilan.

大牛登場｜小優遊台灣 第 6 集 宜蘭・牛舌餅的故鄉

紅線把小優拉到蘭陽平原，大牛說給她聽：「你看這形狀！又窄又長，像舌頭。跟牛一點關係也沒有！」最後送小優一片小牛舌餅：「以後我們就是朋友了！」
The red thread pulls Xiao You to the Lanyang Plain, where Da Niu tells her: "Look at the shape! Long and narrow, like a tongue. No ox was ever involved!" At the end, a little ox tongue for her: "We are friends now!"
